So the answer to the 3 questions above is yes. I have not tried to fly in Airplane mode but I will that. I closed all of the apps on the phone that were running in background before flying. I am using v4.2.6 on the phone and I do not know what is on the MPP cause its at home.

I tried my AT&T (No longer connected) Tab 2 (7") and the DJI Go4 app said the device was not supported. Any suggestions?

First flight was AWESOME. I spent the first evening when my MPP arrived getting it all set up and connected. It took me a little while to get setup at the park to fly bit when I did it was all worth the wait. I love it!!!! going to take a while to get used to all of the settings and what they do...

I was going to get the bundle as well but I read that it is better to get just what you want. The price was not that much different and I do not have a bunch of crap that I dont want.

I am with you MOP, I am going to be getting the MPP next week. I have been reading a lot and the MP2 is not expected to come out until later this year as the MPP just came out in August last year and given the track record of DJI releasing product on the back half of the year.

I have an old Samsung Tab2 and I was wondering if it wil work with the MPP? Has anyone used an older tablet with the MPP successfully?

Man, Stories like this and others are REALLY making me not want to buy a DJI Drone. I have been torn between the P4P and the MPP but they both seem to have major problems...the P4P has a rash of recent battery popping out issues in flight and now the MPP has Gimbal problems...Sigh...
