Has anyone modified the MA2 camera, or replaced the camera with an IR/Thermal camera.

Over 1200 jumps, military and civilian. Still get the butt pluckers with heights. I use thumbs, but use sticks that are about twice as long as the original MA 2 sticks for more precise control.

I may be a little over cautious, but I fly with 3 phones. 2 don't even have SIM cards. 1 is the interface with the RC, 1 is for flight radar/ ads-b tracker, and the third is my network hub for the other two. I always make sure everything is fully charged before I go flying.

I'm near a controlled medium sized airport, class C, requires LAANC authorization. Although I usually fly just outside the LAANC zone, but still well within the 30 miles.

My 2020 FAR/AIM just came in, (I usually only buy it every other year). As best as I can make out, if within 30 miles of an airport you must be broadcasting adsb, and if equipped, at all times.

Not sure on that one, but I see a lot of them that do.

I've been using 2 VOs, 1 to keep an eyes on the drone, and 1 scanning the sky for manned AC. Thought all AC had to be transmitting adsb by Jan. 1 of this year.

I fly commercially, and had hoped that ADS-B, and the tracker apps would let me drop one of my VO's. But I find that when using the fly app and other flight tracking, apps, 30-40% of low flying manned aircraft do not squawk adsb. Any body else having this problem?

I've spent much of my life living on my boats. Several years ago I started flying a jolly Roger flag that had bright red eyes. From then on, I had much fewer problems with birds messing up my boat. Has anyone used the red painted propellers, and what is their experience with aggressive birds?
