Yup... took the chance today to try again with a different cable to the iPhone and it worked. Guess the one I was using before was a little bit duff. :)

Well, this is frustrating. And at £31 (including delivery) quite expensive. Can’t think I was particularly ham-fisted with it, it just came away still attached to my iPhone when I’d finished flying this morning. :(

Confession time... crashed my drone for the first time last weekend. Got a really lovely (well, I thought so anyway) shot of some birds flying onto a bird feeder in my garden with the sun setting behind them and shining through their wings... so engrossed that I forgot to stop moving and flew...

Really, really nice. I grew up in the highlands and it’s footage like this that finally pushed me over the edge and had me buying my own drone. Superb.

There’s a joke in here somewhere about how the rest of the English-speaking world manages to cope with different spellings for the noun and the verb whilst the US has had to dumb it down to just the one... but I can’t quite put my finger on it. ;)
