I fly in both spots all the time... no one has bothered me.... however I found a cool new spot if you are up for it... there is a road that runs down by the water between the Verrazano bridge and the ferry, Edgewater is the name of the road... check it out! As long as you are ok with flying over...

We don’t need/want folks like yourself flying drones anyway. If you don’t have the patience to read and understand something new you should stick with whatever it is you are doing... I have owned over 8 drones... all dji... yes life is not perfect.... but dam freaking close... stay on the ground...
