Yea age has nothing to do with it. I have a friend in his 60's fly's a Pro platinum and won't go out more then a couple hundred feet cause he's afraid he'll lose his wifi connection, I told him I think the Platinum has ocusyc and can go a lot futher with no worries . He says no it has wifi. LOL...

Right location has nothing to do with it. I drive cross country each summer 3000 mile trip and stop here and there to put the drone up and never had to recal comp.

I bought some bike LEDs I strap on the air. they have multiple flash patterns in both RED and White, very bright at night and only cost 10 bucks.

I would turn off sensors and I would stay at least 10 to 15 feet above the water to risky to get lower. Put pontoons on your drone just in case

Welcome to the forum , I think you'll find that a good portion of AZ is MOA. Luke AFB runs training missions all over the state, So you always have to have a ear out for them. :) Thumbswayup
