I guess it has a little but thanks for the information. Certainly wouldn’t want to turn up and do anything illegal. Annoyingly not sure if I’ve got the time to sort it all out now, early flight tomorrow. Believe I need to register and do another online competency test with Polands CAA….
At...
Oh… Thanks for that. Guess that’s my fault for presuming the fact we have adopted the EU rules meant we were included in the same legislation across Europe.
So it appears you are correct. Both the registration and my A2 CofC is useless in Europe.
Thanks for the heads up.
Hello,
Off to Poland this weekend for a wedding from the UK and hoping for some advice if anyone has had any experience especially in terms of military airspace.
So my understanding is the bases of the rules follow the current EU drone regs. I’m registered in the UK and all my drones are...
Thanks for the comments. This was my first shoot with the drone so really didn’t get much chance to play around with settings but went with 800 ISO, the 4k 30fps HQ mode and D-Cinilike colour profile. Then did a little post adjustment in Final Cut Pro.
Think it’s important to go with manual...
New drone release and had to pick it up, real sucker for new drones… 😆
Thought I’d share the results of my first night shoot with the Mini 3 Pro for anyone interested. Really pleased with the results. It’s not my Mavic 3 but would be very hard to get such shots in the town whilst staying within...
Would have been even clearer but there was a bit of a fog/ haze.
yes, I have been on a few and they are great (apart from the drone restrictions).
This was P&O which is part of the Carnival Group.
No. Don’t think any of the cruise lines allow flight from the ships. In fact very few these days even allow you to bring them aboard for even just shore use which is a shame.
Southampton port is in an estuary so the ships are stuck in a channel close to the shore for the first 30 mins or so of...
Latest trip out with the Mavic 3.
Noticed a quirk that I have not experienced before with my previous DJI drone in that the white balance liked changing mid shot which made some slightly more time consuming post processing and ruined a few pans. Lots of colours in the subject and it being dark...
Thanks. Yes it came out better than expected, I didn’t expect to see the ship rock so much when each container is loaded and I didn’t quite realise how many vehicles there actually was driving around until I edited it all back home!
It wasn’t too bad lol. The drone stayed over the estuary so no real obstacles to worry about. The bottom landing lights make landing easy as well. But yes, the 5k option on YouTube is a nice addition giving the full use of the camera, not sure when this was added…
Thanks for the comments.
Will be interesting to see if the hyperlapse feature is added in the new year. Would have been great to have a slow pan along the whole terminal as a hyperlapse.
Still playing with the settings and recently switched to Final Cut to edit so still getting to grips with...
Been reconnecting with the forum after picking up a Mavic 3! Thought I’d share my latest shoot. Pretty impressed with the drone so far! Especially after only having a Mini 2 for the last year.
Standard version shot in D-Log H.264
Hi guys. Just had this with my first flight in sport mode, no wind.
According to DJI this is a message in response to tilt angle and nothing to do with actual battery draw etc. Little confusing message.
Solution was “we don’t recommend pushing the sticks too hard in Sport mode”.... pretty sure...
Thanks all. I’ve ordered the a USB dongle Photo-Sorko recommended to see if it is definitely my current reader that is the bottle neck at the moment for file transfers. Hopefully my speeds will increase and I can save my drone the wear and tear and myself the inconvenience involved in booting...
