Yeah buddy, 100% mini. As the throw rope isn't the big thick one, it handled it well. Obviously not as good as bigger drones would have. I'll try and find a link...

Can't remember the poster but seen a vid on youtube of a guy doing this at his home ranch. Bit of trial and error, but he managed it ok. Not sure I'd recommend- thinking more of the descent as mentioned already above but yes, I've seen it and it can be done!

I'd suggest because they are different cameras/different landscapes/different angle of shot/different camera settings...

They're not motor covers, it's red expanding foam used to fill the unsightly holes on top of the motors ???

As others stated above, check the props are where they should be- take a look at the manual and it explains about the notches and things to look for on how to do correctly. Personally, I'd also remove all the aftermarket stuff you've put on too, to rule out any issues with that.

In the nicest possible way, poor excuse. It's your craft, you're the pilot, your responsibility- make that part of your take off checklist!

I'll save you another £1300... Forget the shingle and just nail a tarp over your roof... Might not work but saved you money ;) Have to agree with @BigAl07 here- you haven't "saved" any money, you've just created a costly problem in the future!
