I suspect changing the motors and props could work just fine. Personally I'd even think about upgrading the wires which seem pretty flimsy.

My Mini has always been stored in the Fly More case... it flew still perfectly some months ago on the original set of props which are not visibly deformed. You just need to be careful the props don't get pinched on the bumps.

The Mini 2 batteries have the bms that take care of take. They're gonna self discharge very quickly in first few days... and I abhor that feature and how it's implemented.

I have an S9+... I believe this to be the size limit for an adaptor... it becomes uncomfortable when the brackets are spread too much apart.
