Wise choice. Tinkering can be lotta fun but this one likely needs a new gimbal board. Without proper diagnostics you will lose a lot of time and no improvement. Good luck and post the result if you like.

No. Either calibration or bad hardware. Likely last one. Mav is really robust and is not that sensitive as some say. From 5 mavs i had 2 were badly produced. Rest never ever had issues. Bad ones replaced/repaired under warranty.

Jello. If your gimbal is located the way it should and rubbers are not damaged likely it's hardware issue of the camera board inside. You can try FW refresh IMU and gimbal calibration but if that does not cure it (prob not) it has to go for repair. Sorry for bad news.

Not sure but absolutely way less than 1 year. The HERE maps are the expired ones. DJI got rid of that, obviously by some pre programmed expiry date. That's why also my airgapped Moverio lost it. Google maps do not work with old go4 (4.1.3). Have no solution, maybe just upgrade and loose all...

I have no idea how the new firmwares work nowadays since my firmware is pretty ancient ;) but the redundancy of compass is a weird thing on the mavic, pretty stupid actually. It's possible that 1 of your compasses is faulty. The Mav uses rear compass as default. You could stick a good size metal...

Can't really say for sure but those dont look too puffy to be unsafe for use. If they charge/ discharge well and cell balance holds nicely nothing's up. I just would keep em in a safebag when not being used away from stuff you want to keep..just to be sure. I had a batch of turnigys in the past...

NO!!!!! Stay away from this battery. Too heavy, too bulky, bad charge/ discharge character and wayyy too expensive. Trust me i tried 2 of em.
