Ground Station app in Apple app store... usable?

I just noticed and downloaded "Ground Station" in the Apple app store and downloaded it. Seems that the last version update was 1.4.63 around 3 years ago (around 2016). Is this something that anyone actually uses anymore? I know there is GS Pro but wonder why it's still on the app store and so...

    Litchi C1/C2 key and 5D button questions/help

Long time Litchi user here. All up to date on current apps (DJI Go 4/Litchi), firmware and iOS updates. I have a Mavic 2 Pro and use an iPad mini 5. I seem to be having some trouble programming the C1/C2 keys and some of the 5D button assignments. For example, in Litchi settings: I want my C1...

Who/How/Why -- do you trust non-DJI automation apps? (Litchi, DroneLink, DroneDeploy, etc...)

I trust non-DJI apps as long as the reliability from the community seems to be there (ie: how long the app has been around, regular updates/fixes, no pattern of serious issues) and secondly, I trust them as long as I have my State Farm insurance policy paid up.

tablet holder for Apple Air tablet suggestions

I'm really interested in this one but don't know if the long arm can flatten down and the small arm can swivel (back) all the way up and over the long arm to then mount the tablet so I have a view of the controller screen too and the tablet is "south" of the controller screen.

tablet holder for Apple Air tablet suggestions

I don't think so. I believe that some of the plates have an extra "lip" in front that fits into the controller's groove and helps stabilize the plate. I suppose I'm surprised out of all of the videos I searched and reviews on a variety of mounts none of them really show any tablets in the...

tablet holder for Apple Air tablet suggestions

right, but I was asking for something that holds the controller toward the bottom of the controller, not above it.

How can I get another Litchi install on my second Apple device?

OK, this is strange. Today, I go back to the store and instead of seeing the price of the Litchi app I do see the cloud icon so that is different from yesterday. I just set this ipad up yesterday, maybe it took time to "get and know" itself to the app store or something. Regardless today is a...

How can I get another Litchi install on my second Apple device?

I purchased Litchi for my iPad mini 4 a couple years ago. Now I have an Apple air and am using the same Apple login but no where do I see where I can re-download a purchased app. I've done google searches and people claim you should see a purchased apps icon but I'm not seeing that anywhere...

tablet holder for Apple Air tablet suggestions

I recently inherited an Apple Air tablet that I'd like to use with my M2P but I don't want a tablet holder that places the tablet over or above the controller. Are there any solid tablet holders that places the tablet downwind of the controller. I kind of visualize something that locks into the...

Dronelink is now free for non-commercial use.

It's really best to go through all of the tutorial videos first. Yes, it's not glamorous but it really will jump start your understanding of this product. I idid, then downloaded the app and logged into the portal to start a new mission and still had to watch the videos again to make thinks...

Dronelink is now free for non-commercial use.

Litchi cost a few $ to download/use the program and now Dronelink is free for non-commercial. For me Litchi was easier to learn but Dronelink is much more robust and a superior product (IMO). Both have a portal to setup missions online and Dronelink's portal is very advanced (compared to...

Dronelink is now free for non-commercial use.

OK, I've spent 15 minutes creating my first mission (orbit and straight line) and this software is pretty amazing so far. The level of detail put into the preview flight certainly blows anything else out of the water. I'm still wrapping my head around the idea of using (and re-using) components...
