    Hello from sunny Kissimmee FL

Welcome from Georgia, I just drove down to West Palm Beach yesterday to spend the next 7 days visiting family. Hit 3 strong rain storms on the way down 75 and the turnpike. My drivers side wiper blade broke off so I have to get a new one today. Luckily I had coated my windshield with Rainex...

    Platinum: Reconsidering vs M2Pro

I bought my MPP about 6 months ago and yes I still love it for the price point and the high technology it provides. Being an AMA field flyer 90% of the time my only purpose for the expensive camera is FPV flight over the 60 or so acres our club provides. So my prime reasons for choosing the...

Ok may be a dumb question but i have a Samsung note 9 that i use with my mavic air. How do you keep from phone trying to charge off of the remote?

Maybe it has a bad battery? I use a new ipad 5 when I fly and it easily lasts me 6-7 hrs of use. I've never noticed it charging from the controller cable. I typically fly 3-4 batteries per session with my Mavic Pro.

Start out with them both fully charged and they will compliment each other as the power diminishes. Both should easily outlast your drone flight times.

    New pilot in NYC!

Welcome from Georgia, the Peach State. I was born in CT so I'm officially a Yankee and a fan of NY. I agree with you in the height and distance, it took me a couple months to get over it too, confidence and insurance helps, lol.

Yes as long as the prerequisites meet what msinger mentions in his reply the RTH function should work.

    Still a newbie

Welcome Jughead. Thanks for sharing the story and yes you can lose signal through trees. Leaves contain moisture and can block radio waves. So always try to keep your drone in visual line of sight when you fly for best signal transmission and reception. Any obstacle that comes in between you...

    New from Western New York.

Awesome... I was born in the northeast and lived in Connecticut from 1950 until 1980. I'm now retired in Georgia. I recently bought a new Magic Pro Platinum and I'm enjoying flying it at my AMA RC field. Check out the link in my profile. Mike

    I need some help please!!

If you're using an FPV device like an iPad or a phone you can record your videos directly to that device or even do a screen record which will show all the Go4 app info around the perimeter like you see in many YouTube videos from drone pilots when they show their flights. For the camera...

Dad uses Mavic 2 to warn kids about a shark

It's a good tool for beach patrol but it needs a warning device attached like one of those air horns that can be remotely activated so swimmers can get out of the water when sharks are approaching.
