I gave it a try, and unfortunately noticed absolutely no benefit. I think with my area, something omnidirectional and powered is needed... going to try the Titan Atlas 5.8....hoping to actually see a gain in range.

I'm trying to pick out an antenna to mod onto my remote to get better range in suburban NJ with lots of houses and trees. Something that can handle 5.8 is preferred, since my neighborhood is terrible for 2.4 interference. I get about 2800 feet away when 400 feet up, which is not terribly far...

Have you found a way to change this setting for the Mavic Air batteries? I know it exists for the MP, but I have not been able to find it for my MA.

Yes it does, took some effort to remove it while trying not to break anything. Some people have had success using rubber bands, i just did it by hand.

I'm pretty sure the title of my thread captures my question... If I take off my ND filter to fly at night/darker sky, is there any reason I need to put the original ring back on (considering there is no filter/plastic/glass on it? I can't think of what purpose it would serve, but I'm also new...

They work perfectly for me. I turn on the drone with the remote connected to my phone, and then once i take off i unplug my phone and connect the goggles. Never have an issue.

Thanks for the advice. I have been using a mount to enable me to keep my phone case on or use my iPad, so the smaller cable has been rendered useless in that instance. Could always not use it, but looking for other solutions. Might just try the cable and see how it goes

Hey Motley, I just got my hood today, the magnets are inside the top of the hood when opened, the very front piece of the top can be folded back and is held there with a magnet. Otherwise it is held open with velcro. Sent from my iPhone using MavicPilots

That is a very good question. It was my impression that fly aways were not something that was covered by Refresh, which is more for accidental damage and needs to have a drone returned to them. Possibly if flight logs are recorded to the app and it can be shown that no stick input was causing...
