It sounds like what you intend to do is not for strictly recreation. If that is the case, to stay legal with the FAA you will need to pass the test to become part 107 certified.

The fly app has become a real processing hog, and the mini 4 just can't keep up. Time to upgrade to a mini 5 or 6.

My suggestion, as always, is download the manual from the dji website and study it over before you fly.

What do images recorded on the sd card look like? If they are the same as the screen shots, then for sure is either the camera or video processor...or a cable connecting the two.

If you have only had it 10 days, I would open a warranty case with DJI and get it replaced.
