13K feet downrange is as far as I have ever flown my MA2 at an altitude of 400 feet, and that was from a hill overlooking a pancake flat valley with absolutely no obstructions for miles and miles. 13K is the point at which my signal reception indicator dropped to orange, and I RTHed.

That is odd, because with the MA2, you are supposed to be able to take 48MP RAW, as long as you've set the Camera options to do that. I'll have to check that out tomorrow.

I cannot locate an actual User Manual for DJI Assistant 2 for Mavic. I have Version 2.0.12 running here on my Mac. Does such a thing exist?
