Oh, yeah! Lost sight bounced it off the bottom of the pier a couple of times before the drop. Had done the same flight 5 or so times with no issues

ha! That was my concern losing the video feed from the drone and of course being distracted

Hey gang Let me know what you think. If I were to do it again I'd look at ND filter and maybe slowing some of the flight down. This was done the day before I drowned my poor little Air 2 in the ocean!

Yeah, that is what I did after a couple of flights.

Quick curiosity question I originally started using my Air 2 with my Samsung Note but switched to an iPad mainly for more screen space. I also got the thought in my head that I wasn't sure what would happen if a cell call came in.......most like to renew my car warranty ;) Anyone experience...

Thank you. I think with the distraction and loss of sight I left it at a hover. Certainly, lessons learned!!!!

Hey gang I sadly joined the crash club 2 weeks ago and I'm trying to wrap my head around how it happened. I was flying under a pier between pilings on the ocean and was about 5 to 10 feet off the beach with waves coming in. I had already done the same flight 5 or so times without issues...
