Aloft decided to no longer participate in the B4UFLY program and instead design their own app to have more freedom. This allows them to offer things that are currently not in the other 4 apps, such as the FRIA list, which was added last week to Air Aware.

I actually don't think it's a ploy to sell more battery but rather a way for DJI to try to satisfy the majority of people who fly the Mini, aka recreational users. The problem is, DJI can't win on this one, they will either piss off the recreational flyers who don't like that they are forced...

Not quite to March yet. The FAA doesn't know how long the delay might be but we asked the FAA in our letter to push it to March. So March is not a sure thing just yet.

We were just curious if it would affect flight time once we found out they fit. The ESCs adjust for the larger props. We actually found that the motors ran colder with the bigger props, which somewhat makes sense. We still won't recommend trying it at home.
