Software for editing videos besides DJI go 4

After years using several video editing softwares (adobe premiere pro, Final Cut Pro, filmora, davinci resolve), I have found my favorite combo: LumaFusion with iPad Pro 2020, way less expensive, easier and it works wonderfully with all my devices (M2P, M2Z, MM, Scadio 2, Osmo Pocket and Osmo...

    Yaw video jump

Thank you for replying, I just updated it to V01.00.0500, let’s see if it corrects it. By the way DJI Assistant 2 for Mavic Mini doesn’t work.

    Yaw video jump

Thank you very much for your reply. I’ll definitely look into it. Although I use the same hardware and software (iPad Pro 2020 and LumaFusion) with my other drones (Mavic 2 Pro and Zoom and Scadio 2), no problems with those.

    Yaw video jump

Does anybody know how to avoid video jumping (stuttering) while yawing? I feel I’m missing something with the settings. Thank you.

    Help with DJI GO 4

Before I started flying my M2Z yesterday, DJI GO 4 asked me to run an update, which I normally do in these occasions. After successfully updating the software my “Intelligent Modes” icon disappeared. I couldn’t run a hyper-lapsed mission I had planned. I’m attaching the screen pictures for DJI...

    Preparing Flight Plans

Even better is Virtual Litchi Mission (VLM). Although the video below is intended for a hyperlapsed mission, it also illustrates how not only you can plan your mission in VLM, but also preview it in Google Earth and see possible obstacles obstructing you flight path. It is the safest workflow...

    Litchi and Google Earth

I always say that this video made me "almost" a professional pilot, lol. By incorporating google earth into the equation using Virtual Litchi Mission (VLM) you can preview your whole mission and plan ahead to avoid obstacles. I always survey the path in the actual site before flying since google...

    Help Requesting FAA Clearance

Since you are in the process of getting your 107, I’ll share this video with you and is all you need. In reciprocity, if you find out the process to be followed by hobbyists (FAA Part 101E), please share. Just like you I’m a responsible flyer who wants to follow the rules and be in compliance. I...

AirMap app for Part 101E (Fly for Fun)

Thank you for your quick response. I’ve done all this, read everything in the FAA page and registered my drone. My question is about the AirMap specifically since they claim is all you need. If it is not, then what should I do to be able to fly in a class D area? I just want to know the...

AirMap app for Part 101E (Fly for Fun)

Thank you, so hobbyists can fly without authorization? Or, is there another process to be followed?

AirMap app for Part 101E (Fly for Fun)

I’ve seen a videos in YouTube about using the AirMap app to request authorization to fly under FAA Part 107. Nothing in how to use the app under Part 101E for hobbyist. I have submitted several requests to fly in a class D are and get nothing. Does anyone know the process? Or am I missing something?

Zooming Effects with Mavic 2 Pro

Can the Mavic 2 Pro zoom?

Zooming Effects with Mavic 2 Pro

I’ve been debating between the M2P and the M2Z. I read an article about the Pro being able to deliver the same zooming effects as the M2Z. It mentions that post-production is required, but does not go into any specifics. Can anyone provide any references?

How long until you were confident to fly further

I do not own a Mavic yet, in fact just joined the forum for research about deciding if I get the M2P or the M2Z. I own a Spark which it is Wi-Fi only no radio frequency for RC connection. I'm very confused now after reading this thread, since I was under the impression the Mavic has a much...
