If you register it in Canada, then yes. But I believe you have to be a Canadian citizen or legal landed immigrant to Canada to register. I do not believe they allow registration for tourists. Sorry about that... Relevant material here...

Good point @Rattydude77 - I had not considered that the weight would be up because of the double battery setup. Makes it even that much more interesting....

I was wondering about that @sar104. I was trying to think how one could generate the data to drone efficiency vs speed, and use that to look for a maximum point like you reference. Should be able to do that, but would want to generate the data on a dead calm day or the results end up...

I think this is an excellent example of cancelling a low battery RTH, resulting in the bird getting safely home with more battery reserve than just leaving the RTH active.

So you were max 7.6 miles away from point of origin, and still had up and downlink signals?? That is beyond remarkable. I would love to see the flight log from that flight if you'd care to upload it... What about the max speed - can you tell us more about that flight??

Darryl, I'm a bit confused by your second post with "wow". Are the screen shots from your flights, or something you found elsewhere are and asking if this is normal speed & distance for a Mavic 2? Thanks for clarification. If I am not mistaken, the distance number is the total distance...
