iPad mini 4 with 128gb is the way to go. To keep the cost down, tether to you smartphone.

You shouldn't need to unless you relocate by as much as a 100 miles or so....for a holiday as an example.

Had my Mavic four months and (touching wood), no problems. Still flying with same props too.

After each flight where I have taken stills or video I remove the 64GB card from the Magic and transfer the footage to my Mac via USB3, formatting once placed back in the Mavic each time. Works for me. Fly safe.

I hear a lot of folks complaining about flying the Mavic using Android, Apple have very little issues reported. Seems to me DJI focussed on Apple as the most popular platform to fly.

Sleats12 Sounds like you may have a sick drone. First off, I would bite the bullet and upgrade your firmware to .800 (the newest). Then check all your flight settings again and make changes to suit your flying style, height distance, RTH, etc. etc. Make sure to upgrade the AC, RC and batteries...
