This is typical of the UK, I don’t mind paying a one off fee to register it but I don’t see why I should have to pay it each year, the details will just be stored in a database and it would make more sense to just deregister it if you sell it on, there is zero need to register each year...
Hi,
Well woke up this morning to the news that London Gatwick was closed twice throughout the night due to multiple reports of drones been flown in the vicinity of the airport. It’s now headline news in the UK and I can only see the government getting tougher on drone laws and more importantly...
Just give them the footage and let them use it how they want, breaking zero laws. The benefit to you is seeing your footage in the final promotional video and it can’t do you any harm with your employers, of course once you get your licence and they actually ask for something, then discuss costs.
I’d definitely go for the Platinum. After starting out on a Phantom 3 Standard which also uses WiFi I realised after the first few flights I’d make a mistake. Signal outs were frequent and I couldn’t go the distances specified by DJI so was disappointed. Decided to get the Mavic Pro for its...
Well there’s not exactly much that can influence the camera, since aperture is fixed it only leaves the shutter and ISO. I would use manual at night definitely but during daylight hours there’s usually enough light to obtain a ISO of 100 and even at relatively slow shutter speeds it’s really...
Definitely better on the SD card. Not sure what your photo settings are but check if it’s JPEG or RAW, RAW photos require some post processing effort though but come out much better.
It also depends on the type of images you’re planning to shoot. If you’d like photo’s of the boat in motion over water then I’d stick with the Mavic Pro, the new Air uses WiFi which is awful, the same tech I had on my old Phantom 3 Standard which I barely used because the signal cut out so...
I just wish they’d stick a focus to infinity option in the GO app which can be mapped to a button on the controller, but it would be nice to have a 20MP camera, for photo’s, think the video is good enough with my current MP...
It’s strange I had these same connection issues when I first got my iPhone 7 Plus and spent ages trying to figure it out, even to the point of nearly returning the phone. Anyway I found that if I connected everything in a specific order it would connect, strange but it works for me. The order...
Tried it once and although it looked great after getting it down and finding it covered in moisture that put me off doing it again. Perhaps if it was a thin layer I might but I went up to 400 ft and only just broke through. Looks class though doesn't it... :)
I have a similar problem, upgraded my iPad Pro and iPhone 6 Plus to latest iOS 11.01 and both work fine. However I got a new iPhone 7 Plus yesterday and that's fully updated and it just won't connect, shows 'Disconnected' on screen before you click Enter Device and then just a black screen with...
So I don't need a SIM in the phone? That wouldn't be too bad apart from I'm meant to be selling it, guess I could hold off for a while, fingers crossed this issue gets sorted soon. Cheers
Hi,
So the other day I updated my iPhone 6 Plus with iOS 11 and went out and tested my Mavic to ensure it still worked ok; all was good.
The next day my new iPhone 7 Plus arrived in the post, all updated to iOS 11.01, installed DJI Go 4 and signed into my DJI account with it.
Today was the...
Thanks...
I'm not using ND filters at the moment, just a cheap UV filter to protect the lens. I'm a photographer and have therefore used ND filters before and see they sell them at different stops but I'm wondering how out in the field you can determined which one to use to achieve that?
