Yes unfortunately, they don't float.... only chance of recovery would probably be to hire a diver. Or, you could buy one of those submersible drones! They are a little spendy though!
I use the Fstop Labs charger. Im pretty disappointed DJI hasn't made a charger that does 3 batteries simultaneously.... which it's why I purchased it. It works fantastically! It is a little loud though. The cooling fan works overtime, but it's worth it to have ~75 minutes of flight time after...
Just buy a new gimbal assembly and repair it yourself. It's easy. A couple screws and a ribbon cable (be extremely careful with the cable,) and you're set. You could even install the hasselbad if you want and have a m2p for about 5-600!
I flew mine in a torrential downpour/blizzard this winter with no issue using the phantom rain wetsuit. But it is a risk even with it installed. Since your using it for business, the risk may be worth the reward. I definitely would not say it's 100 percent effective, but it works! The Mavic...
I would not recommend the fly more kit. The bag sucks and the "charging hub" only charges 1 battery at a time. I bought a third party charger that does all 3 + remote at the same time for around 40 bucks. Look for a backpack for cameras with adjustable walls. You'll be much happier in the long...
I can assure you guys, the Mavic Air is more than capable of holding its own when outside of vision and signal range. My heart drops every time my screen goes blank due to loss of signal on my Mavic 2 Zoom. But, every time, i'm relieved when it does exactly what its programmed to do and flies...
I would like to see a gimbal which could accommodate a GoPro for the Mavic 2. Something that could somehow integrate the technology so you could control the Gopro with the mavic's controller, not just the gimbal. Seeing as GoPro has canned the Karma Drone, I don't see why they don't partner up...
Does anyone have any news on when the product will ship? I've had mine ordered for months now and i'm getting impatient!!! I can not wait until it arrives! Although, I am a little worried about the lack of tablet compatibility (I use my iPad mini 4 for my M2Zoom), which, according to the...
I would say no. I have the same setup. M2z with non racing goggles. The m2z does not support fixed wing mode, which really grinds my gears. The only thing they're useful for is operation during the brightest part of the day when your phone screen is practically useless.
It will not avoid telephone or power lines. Guy wires either. I have first hand experience. My M2Z met an untimely demise thanks to some power lines. The large kind too, not the small residential stuff. It might be a hit or miss thing too. But in my case, it was a hit. I have video to prove it...
I have a different opinion than the previous posters...I've owned both birds in addition to my M2Z. The Spark just didn't meet the photography/feature standards I was looking for. Plus it doesn't fold which makes it less portable than the air. The Air is an amazing piece of tech that rivals the...
