Hello everyone, I am looking to purchase a landing light kit for my Mavic Pro. I am finding some from Pgytech but for the Mavic 2. Are there some kits available still for the Mavic Pro? Thanks
Danny
Hi lenbh
Thanks very much for taking the time to reply. If I understand correctly, once you obtain a SFOC, you do not need to contact the airport you are approved for? Or do you anyways out of courtesy. Thanks again mate
Danny
Hello everyone, am contemplating obtaining my SFOC in order for me to be able to fly into restricted airspace. I find that from the flight schools I have found that the price is a bit high for me. So am asking your opinions on: is it worth obtaining SFOCs simply to be allowed to fly into...
I hear ya mate! My son resides in Kapuskasing, Ontario and we visited last week. Took some videos of the now abandonned CFS Lowther as well as some power dams. The weather wasn't great but I would have loved to have driven a bit further North to the tree line. Next year!
Actually Canada isn't too bad compared to other countries. Still room for improvement though. Some of my neighbours are totally paranoid about UAVs, feeling we are "spying" on them from 300 feet in altitude. I tell them I didn't get the model equipped with missiles nor the one with the cameras...
Nice to see that a government has taken the approach that we as UAV pilots are not all dicks and follow rules, hence slacking the rules somewhat. Wish Canada did the same, our Libs have a tendency to do a knee jerk and paint us all with the same brush.
