I flip mine to Sport mode when I hand catch it, to turn off the front / back obstacle avoidance sensors and it seems to work fine for me so far.

Put it in Sport mode when you're in the house to turn off the sensors, but be very careful unless you have the prop guards installed.

You'll need a cable with USB-C on one end, and Micro USB on the other end for it to work. They can be found on e-bay for around $10.
