Mavic Mini frequent disconnects from controller

I have had a Mavic Mini now for 15 months and it performed to expectations for the first 13 months, albeit with a few pauses in operation when used in Wifi dirty environments. It has been a great second drone, small enough to travel with me during overseas skiing trips. I have been extremely...

    Tripltek arrived.

On the subject of mounting a Tripltek 7" tablet on a Mavic Pro Platinum RC, I played with a few plastic units and the balance was all wrong, so I knocked up my own from a little 6mm marine ply plate which fits into the phone mount section on the RC, some 1.5 mm aluminium angle to couple to the...

    Tripltek arrived.

I have the Pro It works great with Litchi on my Mavic Pro Platinum, but when I try DJI GO 4 (latest version) I cannot get it to change from imperial to metric. This results in the RC conrtoller always showing ft instead of metres. After starting DKI GO 4 which comes up correctly and I can...

I heard some beeps...

    Aircraft Encoder Error Warning

I flew my Mavic Pro Platinum yesterday, for the first time in many months and saw the same error using Litchi, I restarted the aircraft and received the same message. As I was in an open area I decided to attempt to fly anyway, but cautiously. I fle for 20 minutes without any reoccurance during...

    Litchi now supports Mavic Mini

Android beta, Tracking works, you need to select a target on the camera screen which It attempts to track. Mode changes by touching the mode name on top toolbar, i found this by trial and error.

    Litchi now supports Mavic Mini

    1. shoot panorama - I use spherical, the drone takes 23 stills automatically in about a minte or so, you see a countup 2. get files of SD onto PC 3. use Microsoft ICE (free) to stich the 23 jpgs together into a single file (large) 4. resize to 2:1 - I use paint.net (free) to open the file from...

    Litchi now supports Mavic Mini

I have been using Litchi now for almost 2 years with my Mavix Pro Platinum and find it much more stable and intuitive than DJI's app. Waypoint missions are great, especially the autonomous mode where the drone can fly without the controller being connected, its other features are great to use...

Earlier this year I approached Qantas Dangerous Goods and received this reply "No dangerous goods approval is required for the battery as it is no more than 100wh. When the battery is contained in the drone it is permitted in checked or carry-on baggage provided the drone is turned off. All...
