More great info! Thanks... I just charged the first battery of three that had no lights (of 4) on, and it took a full charge. Just flew the Mini. So glad it's not completely dead.
Thank you for all the helpful answers to my question. The "how did it happen" can be racked up to a crazy year with too many non-flying work projects and a surgery I've finally bounced back from.
2 batteries in charger have 1 green light (of 4), 1 is has no green light at all. Looked for answer but didn't find one. What the best way to revive them, knowing that sitting for long periods is bad for the battery. (Discharge all to zero? Charge them up as is?) Thanks ~
Thank you so much for the step-by-step info. Regarding Step4: If I'm now going to be flying (not continuing to store the drone and batteries), after depleting them in Step2, do I just charge to 100% and go fly?
Hi, I have 3 Mini2 batteries that ended up stored for six months. Read the above thread but I'm unsure of what to do to harm them least with a recharge. Just charge them fully? Can explain what "cycle them at least once" means as a process? Thanks!
I run a small theater in Maine. (www.goodtheater.com) This is the lead off song to a virtual concert we posted online last week. All the aerial clips were shot with a Mini and a Mini 2.
Welcome! I'm about 5 miles from you (as the Mini2 flies) in Cape Elizabeth. I haven't posted any videos to this forum, but here's a quick one from up near Bar Harbor, Maine. "Molasses Pond & Blueberry Fields in Autumn."
Reading this in Maine with interest. Amazon search for "Drone Remote Control Winter Gloves" returned a lot of results. If anyone has found a winner among those selections, please post a link...
