I can confirm that the RC Pro behaves this way with the Mavic 3 Pro. It’s not just changing cameras. Any kind of change has vary degrees of lag - most notable are changing cameras, changing from photo to video and changing exposure modes between auto/pro.
It isn’t completely breaking the...
I can’t think of a situation where I would need one for drone still photography other than wanting a specific look for water, but I’m not especially fond of that myself. I do use it for video to be able to stick more closely to the 180 degree rule.
My main use for them on my Sony MILC is to...
Tracking for me shows it “on its way” via UPS as of 5/4 from Ontario, CA but there’s no more tracking info or an ETA. I only really care because it’s “signature required.”
I received a notice about an hour ago that the warehouse finished processing the order and mine had shipped. UPS has not taken possession yet so no ETA.
Ordered 4/25
Anyone have an idea when they’ll actually sell/ship the drone only? For now you can only “reserve” and support wouldn’t give me an idea other than to say that the initial inventory was reserved for the kits.
I’ve got the same combo and found myself unable to fly sideways without understanding why. Remember to check after any kind of firmware updates. I’ve found the option toggled without having done it myself.

I picked up a 3rd party model and have been using it for the few weeks I’ve had the drone now. Never noticed the battery being activated nor have I noticed any propeller distortion.
The device really just keeps them in place and does not put much tension on them at all.
FWIW I also ordered...
Thank you! I do my work in FCP so was not familiar with the built-in options in Premiere. Could never get myself comfortable with the Premiere workspace.
This is the
As someone new to the hobby, this whole thing is upsetting because it reeks of the kind of single incident that leads to tightened regulations. It's got a lot of those hallmarks on it. Very public, very visible, thumbing of the nose at a regulatory agency, could have had the...
I replied to someone else above with more detail. The primary benefits for me in still photography are maintaining a shallow depth of field when using flash outdoors.
If I want shallow DOF during daylight, I might need to be at f1.8 and 1/4000 ISO100. I need flash on my subject to balance the...
