Hi! I’ve flown in -20 F with batteries warmed by remaining in my coat pocket. Keeping the batteries warm & not at ambient temperature is the key. No issue & no appreciable decline of flight time. The draw of the batteries will be enough to keep them warm during flight.

Re: Battery Charge Count: I’ve noticed this as well early in my ownership of the M2. I now believe the battery charge counter only increments up a number when the battery has accumulated 100% worth of charge. As this is the meaningful number when it comes to Lithium ion batteries life span...

I like this approach! A much cleaner install than sticking the strobe’s pad directly to the Mavic’s body.

Try reformatting the card. If it is a bad sector on the card, reformatting will mark the sector as bad and it won’t be used in the future. Just make sure to offload your data before reformatting, as it will be lost.

Hi All, I’m curious what are everyone’s experiences with low level flying over both oceans and flat, still bodies of water (lessons learned) that would help make these types of flights more manageable? Naturally, this is a high-risk, but I’d like everyone’s input on how to best manage this risk.

The request is consistent with government employment applications for security related jobs. It appears legit to me.

Personally, regardless if you’re able to correct the problem on your own - you should still have it repaired under warranty. As big of an inconvenience as it may be; it will correct the problem “the right way” and leave a documentation trail should the issue prove to be systemic in the future...
