    Panoramic Photo Order

John(?), thank you very much for taking the time to share this in-depth detail! I really appreciate it!

    Panoramic Photo Order

Hi All, I'm curious if anyone happens to know the order in which the M2P captures photos for both 180 & 360 degree panoramic photos? I'd like to adjust the center point of some of my 360 degree pano photo's in lightroom but need some reference point for what order the photos are taken to do so...

    True low temp flying M2P

Hi! I’ve flown in -20 F with batteries warmed by remaining in my coat pocket. Keeping the batteries warm & not at ambient temperature is the key. No issue & no appreciable decline of flight time. The draw of the batteries will be enough to keep them warm during flight.

Mavic 2 Pro Altitude recorded on photos

Re: Battery Charge Count: I’ve noticed this as well early in my ownership of the M2. I now believe the battery charge counter only increments up a number when the battery has accumulated 100% worth of charge. As this is the meaningful number when it comes to Lithium ion batteries life span...

I put the LumeCube Anti-Collision Strobe on this.

I like this approach! A much cleaner install than sticking the strobe’s pad directly to the Mavic’s body.

    Corrupted sd card?

Try reformatting the card. If it is a bad sector on the card, reformatting will mark the sector as bad and it won’t be used in the future. Just make sure to offload your data before reformatting, as it will be lost.

Backpack for Mavic 2, Smart Controller & DSLR Camera (Yet Another Case Thread)

To close up this thread with a pretty little bow, I found that the Vanguard Alta Sky 45D backpack was the perfect fit for the requirements of carrying the Mavic 2, smart controller, 2 extra batteries, a laptop+tablet, a DSLR w/ lens attached, 1-2 extra lenses, with a small amount of space to...

How serious is a high speed wind warning?

I suspect the question was more about why m/s instead of km/hr which is more comparable to the referenced mph throughout the manuals. [emoji4]

Flying with a drone (Travel not actual drone flight)

To clear up any confusion; there is NOT an FAA regulation requiring lithium ion batteries to be at a certain charge when brought into the cabin of the plane. (Ie think to how people are fully charging their lithium ion batteries in their phones/tablets/laptops prior to flight) and there are not...

Advice for Low Level Flights over Water - Skimming Water Surface

Thanks for the response. Would you mind educating me a bit further on what you’re doing when “setting altitude”? This sounds like it may be a critical step :)

Advice for Low Level Flights over Water - Skimming Water Surface

Hi All, I’m curious what are everyone’s experiences with low level flying over both oceans and flat, still bodies of water (lessons learned) that would help make these types of flights more manageable? Naturally, this is a high-risk, but I’d like everyone’s input on how to best manage this risk.

    Is this Fishy?

The request is consistent with government employment applications for security related jobs. It appears legit to me.

mavic pro 2 problem with the gimbal?

Personally, regardless if you’re able to correct the problem on your own - you should still have it repaired under warranty. As big of an inconvenience as it may be; it will correct the problem “the right way” and leave a documentation trail should the issue prove to be systemic in the future...

    Drones and Radiation

Any non-ionize hardened microcomputers placed in an area where there is active beta decay, releasing beta particles, will be vulnerable to dosed degradation over time. Particularly sensitive are the transistors inside of every microcomputer, these transistors are now so small that numerous...
