I personally hate subscription-ware! 😖 DroneViewer's license fee is a one-time charge.
And, yes, it works with DJI Mini 2. See the DroneViewer website for a list of compatible drones and action-cams. You can always try it for free.

Not exactly law enforcement, but similar...
Back in 2015, when flying a drone was like the Wild West, I had the urge to fly my Phantom 2 around the circumference of the 1.2-km diameter Meteor Crater in Arizona. I researched the best location to launch from such that I could conduct this...
@Reflexeye Yes, you can use the Export to KML button to write a timed-trajectory of your flights to Google Earth! Here's an example from my Mini-2 flights, @Chaosrider :)
BTW, this thread has been superseded by the newer thread here.
Thanks

Thanks. Yes, that describes me. I've flown from this bluff many times and was running out of new filming ideas. Somehow the crazy idea of flying backwards, fast and very low, just ahead of a large crashing wave stuck in my head. I had to have THAT shot! Earlier in the video, I did achieve it...
Not sure if I was in Sport Mode at the time, so OA might have been off.
>Turn grid lines on in camera settings . . . #
Ah, I hadn't thought about turning on the gridlines. Good suggestion @MAvic_South_Oz and should work if the gimbal is straight ahead.
Given enough lead time and practice I...
The City of Huntington Beach does not allow drone takeoffs/landings on the beach. So I launched from the bluffs which are about 30-feet above the beach. This makes judging the height of the drone above the water very difficult using VLOS alone. If I was allowed to control the drone from the...
I'm kicking myself. My MA2 is now resting in Davy Jones locker due to my own foolishness. 😠 I was going for a low-altitude pullback shot of a large breaking wave. I misjudged the height of the drone and the wave clipped my poor MA2, disoriented it, and sent it plummeting. +1 for Pacific Ocean...
Gents, thanks for your feedback and I apologize for the trouble you're having.
I'm scratching my head as to how the software could possibly freeze your system. We've literally sold thousands of licenses of DroneViewer and Dashcam Viewer and this is the first time I've heard of a computer...
DroneViewer software for Mac or Windows combines your Mavic video footage with visual data such as your drone’s mapped GPS location, speed, geotags, and more. Through Sunday, DroneViewer PRO is 20% off using coupon code BLACK21.
Yes, if you can convert your data to GPX you should be able to import it into DroneViewer. Make sure the base filename is the same as the video base filename so DroneViewer will associate the video with the GPX file upon load of the video. You may need to manually sync your GPX data with the...
Hey everyone, we just released DroneViewer v1.2.5 for Windows and Mac. This is a free upgrade to DroneViewer and DroneViewer Pro users (free trial available).
v1.2.5 has the following improvements and bug fixes:
Fixed bug in which lat/lon errors in data stream could cause DroneViewer to crash...
Normally the filenames are incremented with each flight so I haven't run into this issue. However, I think I know what would be causing it and I'll look into it. For now, please manually change the MP4 filename and you should be good. Thanks for reporting it!
Just wanted to let folks know that DroneViewer 1.2.4 is now available with the following changes:
Improvements and Bug Fixes:
The mouse can now be in the main viewer window to perform a zoom using the mouse wheel. Previously, the mouse had to be on top of the main video for mouse wheel zoom to...
