Regarding 1/2.3", how do you say it? Is it 'one over two point three inch?'

Or 'One half point three'?

I know it's the sensor but still confusing.

Thank You...

I was wondering the same thing, and just found the following on wiki:

I could not cut and paste like I wanted, but the fields below are:

TYPE, Diagonal (mm), Width (mm), Height (mm), Aspect Ratio, Area (mm²), Stops (area), Crop Factor

1/2.3" (Pentax Q, Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W330, GoPro HERO3, Panasonic HX-A500, Google Pixel/Pixel+, DJI Phantom 3[43]/Mavic 2 Zoom[44])7.666.174.554:328.50-4.945.64

You can check out the wiki page yourself for more info:

I'd say one over two point three as well.

It's a weird system that comes from measuring video tubes and doesn't actually refer to the sensor size so the 1in sensor in the Mavic 2 Pro is actually only a 0.6in diagonal.
