.1000 can't update NFZ database?

I updated to .1000 and subsequently, all attempts to update the NFZ (as required by DJI Go 4) have failed:

- update using DJI Go 4 (iOS) - stalls at 20% for over half an hour
- update using DJI Assistant 2 (Mac) - either stalls at 0% (during the "Transmitting..." phase, after successful download) or throws up a failed update error

Tried getting DJI tech support to help but the are "temporarily unavailable"

Anybody else experience this?

Yes, but my firmware updates went OK. Just the NFZ db refusing to update.

I'm having the same issues as the OP. I can't get this thing to update this annoying NFZ database!

For what it's worth I'm both sorry to hear that and glad i'm not alone!

Hmmm. I disabled that feature all together. I couldn't even fly inside of my home because of NFZ. Now my bird is free.

Wait, u can disable it? I thought DJI was being militant about enforcing NFZ and it's a big part of their firmware direction moving forward. Otherwise it will limit the range of the quad?
