I tried to. With it on I was only able to get 2-4 satellites, without it I got 16. I just did not feel it was worth taking a chance flying with that low number of satellites.

My camera was much smaller, the Insta360. The seller finally admitted to me that there was a problem with the design, they never even took into consideration of the GPS signal.

Yup as soon as you fire it up you will see that it will not go into GPS mode, at least that is what happened with me. I was thinking maybe just take a short flight but worried it would do a flyaway.

Gonna give this a test flight when I get some decent weather. It’s a PGYTech top mount with a Sony 4K Action Cam screwed on. Thought it might be cool to get some rear video and combine in post. Need to test for stability first. Nice and easy.

That’s not a good idea especially with that big of a camera. A GoPro Session would probably work pretty good though.
