7 minute videos

Good evening/morning, I’ve had my Mavic Air for just over a week now, and it only seems to record 7 minutes of footage at a time. So after 21 mins of flying I’d have 3, 7 minute videos. I had a San Disc 4K 64gb so card in it, so I know that’s fine. Do I have a setting that needs adjusting?

I'm not sure about the specific amount of time but it does automatically record a certain amount of information then automatically begins another.

There's a file size limit to the file format DJI drones use.

It doesn't "record only 7 minutes at a time", it just splits files every 4GB. Just put them end to end your video editing program.

My Mavic Air does 4 min. 51 sec. and switches. Which as Kilrah says is 4GB.

If your chip is formatted exFAT then you will have larger file sizes than FAT32 or NTFS formats.

Yes, ExFAT supports files greater than 4GB, but most systems adhere to the FAT32 limit even with ExFAT. There's no setting to change that.
