Looks like a really nice flying spot. What are the mounds out past that open field?...here in the states they could be Indian burial mounds And how deep is that little "bog" hole? We have one here in the states that is purported to have had a stage coach fall through in western times...it is feed from a underground river but has no oxygen in the water

the whole site is a reclaimed coal,tip next to a deep mine and has been turned into a park as a memorial to the miners ,the mounds you are on about are actually a sculpture of a pit pony ,there are lots of small ponds around the site ,i have built up a good relationship with the council rangers that run the park, and they are more than happy for me to fly there ,the council runs several parks in and around where i live and i fly in all of them from time to time
