Everyone, I don't have any proof nor witnesses...
So I was filming my neighbor's house per their asking. After "wooing" about the drone, they've gone inside. I did the standard "reverse and climb" maneuver to get the nice shot from the front door to the revealing aerial view. All good.
As I flew back the Mavic, I suddenly noticed a large flying object approaching it fast. It was a bird of prey! It swooped in close (2 - 3 ft?) and veered away. Then, it landed on a tree nearby and watched the rest of the filming. It was about twice the size of the Mavic.
I got no evidence. Just sharing with people who may appreciate the experience. ;-)
P.S. Why didn't I fly the drone to her? That's not my style...wanna be cool to the nature.
