A friend and I took a very nice motorcycle ride up into our local San Gabriel Mountains here in Southern California and our destination was Crystal Lake and the Crystal Lake Cafe. As we parked in the parking lot, my friend pointed to something and I couldn't see it right away. Guess what it was. Yep, a Mavic Pro, flying high above us over the tall pine trees and rustic rental cabins there. As we looked around we noticed a number of people with pretty large cameras in close proximity. It turns out, they were filming a portion of a popular TV crime series called "Cold Case Files" and they were using the Mavic as the aerial platform to do it. We heard them say to use 4K in 16:9 format for the video. We were surprised they weren't using an Inspire 1 or 2. VERY COOL surprise. It is a show the wife & I watch so we will be looking forward to seeing the final results of the shoot. They didn't know what the episode name will be but the subject was a cop named Joe Clark
