If I experienced a flyaway while I was filming a wedding and my Mavic crashed into people injuring someone, the first thing an FAA inspector would ask me for was "where is my waiver?"
Although with more and more drones flying everyday, I don't know how the FAA would keep up with inspecting crash incidents. There are people that still refuse to even register their drone with the FAA. Still have lots of "government doesn't need to be meddling in my business" types out there.
