If I do buy a Mavic Air I know I will find it annoying that the controller only has one adjustment wheel. That will have to be for the gimbal. This means that changing exposure will be fiddly, so I think I will just keep it set to auto.

This raises the question: what is the best strategy to ensure a video that has the maximum chance of being salvaged in post production? Should you set a minus EV value or a plus, and by how much? Should you use Cinelike or something else?

I'd love to see some opinions on this.

Exposure is really not something you have to keep changing on the fly. Once you have or know your settings, you should be good the next hour or so. However you have the option to apply the custom function button so I think this should address your concern. Hope that helps
