DJI announced the Phantom line has reached its sunset. My 2 P4Ps are my bread and butter for construction jobs. Never owned a Mavic.
Which model would be a suitable replacement?

Yes, I know P4Ps and parts will be around for years; just thinking ahead.

Any of the Mavics really would do a great job I would say the 3 series would be nice You could wait for the 4 if you have lots of money.
I am no Photographer I use my cams for eyes. lol, so you might want to check on those specs and find the Model that suits your particular needs.
If you are going to continue to use Drones in your Business, GET READY for a HUGE jump in prices, I have not quite seen it in complete Drones yet but parts are skyrocketing now and Ready to Fly Drones will see this increase sooner or later.

If you need a mechanical shutter, I think the 3E is the only current option. I think it's unlikely we'll see a 4E with the release of the Matrice 4 series.

The P4P is still a workhorse all these years later, too bad it's EOL.

Just be aware that DJI does not provide an SDK for their Mavic consumer drones.
You cannot use them for mapping and waypoint missions, the way you are used to with the P4 pro.
DJI think it's much better that you pay a lot more to get one of their enterprise models to have that functionality.

If you are just doing normal stills and video, the Mavic 3 pro and probably the not-yet-released Mavic 4 are equal or better than your existing drones.
