Acronyms for Mavic 3, Mini 3 and Mini 3 Pro

We can’t even get people who own a Mavic 2 Pro to refer to it correctly, instead of calling it a Mavic Pro 2. Good luck with the “3”s.

It is actually a Mavic 2 Pro though.

Commonly abbreviated to M2P (or M2Z / M2E / M2EA).

So too my Mavic Pro was coded M1P.

Yes, was always on the drone id plate, only noticed that when the M2 came out and I checked out of curiosity.

The first thing that bothered me was that a lot of people think anything DJI is also a Mavic, which they are not. Then I see Mavic Mini in print, and in the Mavic area, discussion of Mini 2 and 3. This whole area is listed under MavicPilots. Makes it hard to know whether you're in the right place.

Its gonna get even worse now with the upcoming release of the Mavic 3 Pro (yes you read that right). There's only one Classic of any series (so far) so I just refer to my Mavic 3 Classic as my Classic. My P3P is never confused with any other Phantom, and my Mini 3 (non Pro) will just be my mini 3. I won't abbreviate it at all to avoid confusion.
