Active track (parallel mode)

Hi all. I’ll be likely buying the mavic air 2s soon enough. Does anyone with experience flying this drone know if the parallel mode will also follow the target in unpredictable patterns? I ask because this summer I’d like to have it follow my kids and nieces and nephews while tubing on the water.

@Gas+ it follows the subject to the side ,instead of from behind ,and should work just the same ,but remember that it still needs to be able to stay locked on the subject ,and will change sides as the subject moves in a different direction, i would try it in a large open space first just walking so you get the idea of how it works ,before you take to the water

If trying to fly sideways beside river remember trees are known to jump out and grab drones.
And bits of fishing line hanging from bridges or trees can ruin your day too.
