Adding flight status map to video

Without resorting to screen capture during flight, is there an app that will create a flight status video I can add to the drone video, simulating the dual windows you see during a mission? For example an app that uses flight logs to create and animates a path in Google Earth to show the location of the drone mission video. I would add a window showing resulting path video to the mission video.

I know someone did develope an app that used the SRT file to show flight travel along with the video.
SRT file is a closed caption file that if enabled in Go, contains various telemetry and camera data.
