Additional charge foreign transaction fee

I have been charged additional fee of $29.97 as foreign transaction fee along with my Mavic Pro fly less.
I have used Bank of America CC.

Did anybody else get charged? I have already sent an email to DJI but no response from them yet.

DJI is not going to be able to help you with this issue since it's a fee directly from your bank for making a foreign transaction.

I got hit with a similar fee using a Visa CC. I don't remember the exact amount but figured it's not DJI's problem.

It's definitely not DJI's problem, it's between you and your CC provider.

Are those charges mandate ? or can I speak to the bank and get it waved off?

I would imagine it's between you and the CC provider. Good luck, but I suspect they don't want to get that started.

With my Visa Debit, I can purchase products from around the world with no extra fee. But, the seller has to use a U.S. financial institution for the transaction or it will be prohibited entirely.
