I placed a preorder about a week ago on the Mavic 4 Pro fly more combo. I got a confirmation that it shipped today and should arrive early next week. It seems like Adorama is still getting a supply of them into the US if you are wanting to snag one.
Is there a warranty? I heard you can't by DJI Care with a US Zip no matter where you get the drone?I placed a preorder about a week ago on the Mavic 4 Pro fly more combo. Cool thanks for letting us know. Looks like only the Rc2 combo is shipping, no base or creator. Still, I'm hoping one day we go back to pre-tariff pricing. Oh, looks like RcPro2 also available now. Where is B&H in al
they want $1400 for the RC PRO 2... ripoff.ADORMA ROCKS and is always on top of things
They do not have them as I just checked and it says on backorder.I placed a preorder about a week ago on the Mavic 4 Pro fly more combo. Warranty, who knows until someone actually tries it. But since they usually replace a drone rather than repair it, it is likely that they won't do that until they are officially selling in the US.Is there a warranty? I heard you can't by DJI Care with a US Zip no matter where you get the drone?
Adorama site states Mavic 4 Pro is on back order now. Looks like you snagged the last one!I placed a preorder about a week ago on the Mavic 4 Pro fly more combo. I just got off the phone with DJI customer service. They confirmed that any Mavic 4's purchased in the U.S. (from authorized dealers) will not have warranty coverage or the ability to buy DJI Care. I have an opportunity to buy one today from a dealer who has the base model but I'm going to have to pass. Just not worth spending almost $3k for a new drone with no coverage. Is there a warranty? I checked from DJI. I'm covered for replacement of my drones (damaged or lost anywhere, in any country) while replacement parts or drones will be sent to the country where I purchased my drone and DJI Care Refresh. Thats awesome.Care Refresh is available for Canada when purchased in Canada; I'll just have to make sure my flyaway only occurs in Canada. Having said that, what if we take our drone on vacation to another country, does DJI Care Refresh still work? I can understand if drone replacement or parts would be sent to country where DJI Care Refresh was purchased. Anyone know? I can always reach out to DJI direct to ask the same question.
According to Adorama, it is covered under the 1 year warranty and is eligible for DJI Care. I would think there would have been noticeable blowback online already from other folks who bought the 4 Pro from Adorama in the last few weeks if it wasn't covered under warranty and they couldn't add DJI Care.I just got off the phone with DJI customer service. It would be very helpful to hear (and clear up a lot of confusion) from anyone who purchased the M4P from Adorama (or any other U.S. Dealer) if they were able to purchase the DJI care. Another thing that the DJI person told me is that they have no M4P spare parts in the U.S. for any repair services (under warranty or DJI Care).According to Adorama, it is covered under the 1 year warranty and is eligible for DJI Care. I was told the process is like the setup with all other drones, you can add it when doing the setup when you start the drone and controller the first time.
I will confirm that and post here when it arrives and I get it set up. If Adorama is wrong and it's not covered, I will send it back ASAP for a refund and stick with my Mavic 3 Pro and Mini 4 Pro for a while.
I think you will hear at least 3 types of scenarios from US customers who purchased from Adorama based on when they purchased. Apparently there was a time early on when the US customer with his new drone had the ability to purchase DJI Care during the setup and activation process. Also there were customers who were able to purchase Care along with their drone when Adorama was able to attach it to the new drone sale. These two scenarios were apparently available and you might hear from people who said they were successful in the opening days. Also most likely the Care purchase process doesn't seem to be linked to the inventory of spare parts or the location of those spare parts. However, it may have prompted the third scenario where lately anyone with a US M4P has been unable to purchase Care because it is blocked so it sounds like DJI has switched it off likely because they are not ready to support it. In addition, if DJI knows which drones are sent to Adorama, they should have to ability to block Care purchases by serial number. I'm hoping to hear from others as well but my hopes are not high because people tend to just say "Yeah I got it" and that's about it. If you are familiar with the process or you don't worry about interchanging all the words and terms etc then it's not really helpful. For example, if you paid that doesn't mean you have it until you confirm. Calling DJI is not really helpful either because of the miscommunication and also the different answers you may receive. It would be very helpful to hear (and clear up a lot of confusion) from anyone who purchased the M4P from Adorama (or any other U.S. Dealer) if they were able to purchase the DJI care.
