OP, are you able to use this link and input your serial number (and choose country) to see what it says about your drone's warranty please: https://repair.dji.com/device/search?lang=en&re=usI know the box says the 'comes with 1 year warranty...' but for us U.S. buyers/users, that does not apply today for the M4P (per DJI customer service).
I think DJI knows what they *can* do, I just don't think they've made up their mind what they want to do. Sounds like they would rather not "mark up accordingly" and therefore have chosen "hold" as in hold and wait and see what happens. Not something I would do but with minds changing every day/week, understandable how someone may want to consider it. It's no way to run the market and such uncertainty is costly and painful but it's the new normal. I bet it too a lot of resources to shut down the US launch and DJI probably doesn't want to do that again (scrub, amend, etc) with Enterprise so they just let it run and simply no US inventory. Imagine how to reprint, rewrite, redo everything with so many launching coming up instead of selling good equipment to customers who want to buy it.The holdup can't be the tariffs - otherwise the price would simply be marked up accordingly.
Primarily the holdup is customs.
