After December 23rd will online store still be able to sell existing inventory?

Look how confusing this is for all of us. What a ridiculous mess. I am likely going to purchase a spare drone on Dec. 22nd just to be sure... Doesn't the US governement have something better to do with my tax money???

Amazon is still selling aftermarket batteries and props from China for the Mavic Pro. I just bought both.

The DJI site is no longer selling Mavic Pro batteries or props.

This all stems from a law China passed a few years ago that requires all Chinese manufacturers to cooperate with China's intel services. That opened the gates for concerns about hacking and security. As far as I know, there is zero evidence that DJI has engaged in any mischief. I understand that the lobbying by USA drone manufacturers has been tremendous. The best way to increase business is to knock out the #1 competitor.

Did you invest in stock for USA manufacturers? I'll bet most members of Congress did.

Didn’t the DJI allegations start off as being about slave labor in Xinjiang province, and then suddenly morph into being about security?

A point of interest: Several years ago, as a member if the Civil Air Patrol, I had some training on a military base on the use of drones. We were using an older DJI, I don’t know the model. It looks like a big white starfish, maybe a foot and a half across the four arms. That’s not the important part.

The drone had a big sticker on it that said, Property of the US Air Force, and that the software had been modified so it could not contact China and that it was not to be updated!
