Air 2S Arrives Tomorrow - Best Modes and Tweaks on Initial Setup?

When I first bought me Mavic Pro I didn't realize I needed to go through the modes and stick sensitivity, so I am here now to see what I need to do for smoothest/best video and image capture. Air 2S arrive tomorrow. Thanks in advance.

Your Air 2S should be perfect out of the box , check for a perfect horizon level and if it is not I would send it back.
Of course you can mess with trying to fix it but it also means you may be fixing it more than once.

No, but these packages take a lot of abuse before they get to you , We Order two of everything and one package had bubble wrap and the other had none so the box was a free fall inside the shipping box. Rough shipping is the result of many of the problems with the drones. An easy way for us to spot this is the Horizon being off tilt from the start.

Mine was almost perfect out of the box. You’ll want to adjust you photo/video settings to your needs. I ended up adjusting the gimbal and yaw controls - lower speed, higher smoothing. But it’s a good idea to go through all the settings, if only to get an idea what your options are for future adjustment.

Thanks for the input. 2S arrived an hour ago.

Getting back to basics: I am assuming this unboxing will be similar to when I received my Mav Pro? Charge it up and download the firmware?

I know these are basic questions I am asking but In hindsight I wish I had done this back in 2017. Back then I installed a firmware without realizing it was one of the ones most pilots hated, and from what i recall there was no undoing that update, so any "unboxing" advice appreciated ...

@sduck what did you do specifically to your stick settings? I recall my Mavic was jerky as hell right out of the box ... took me a while to dial in the right settings on the sticks and the gimbal rollers

Here's how I have it - note that you can set these differently for the different modes - I left the settings at default for sport mode, which I rarely use, and it always surprises me with how jerky it is when I switch to that mode.
