The Air 2S had some power but its not mighty mouse. lol The drag is always the go to. But terrible catch.

Prob what should've been done in the first place. lol. The drone looked to be larger than the Air 2S... wouldn't find me doing that. lol...till someone went and got a ladder

That old steel roof was probably better off NOT being walked on.
I have a line release (made for dropping fishing lines) for my Air 2 that I use when recovering small drones etc.
It's safer because I can release if the line or (recoveree) get snagged.
For heavier things, I simply use my Yuneec Typhoon H.
I do recommend a softball mitt or fishing net to aid in safely landing the recoveree.

I was on the edge on my seat. Good job getting the FPV drone securely bound by the loop of rope.
