Air 3s motion parameters?

For some reason, I can't figure out how to find the motion parameters (flight speed, gimbal speed, etc.) for the three flight modes. I've searched all through the menus. How do I get there?

Look for the "Expo" item. Click to expand to the parameters you mention. You can set each of the 3 modes to different settings for those parameters

Yep, gain and expo settings. Probably the best change you make for smoother flights. Better than any special stick, etc.

What are the recommended settings for these?

I see Max Horizontal Speed, default to 15.0 m/s, which seems to be set at the max value.

Max Ascent and Descent Speeds are both set at 6.0 m/s, also the max values for those parameters.

Brake Sensitivity is also set to max at 100.

Max Angular Velocity is set to max at 75.

Yaw Smoothness is set to 5, on the lower end.

Expo Pitch is set to .25, Expo Yaw is set to .20 and Expo Up/Down is set to .25.

Gimbal Max Control Speed (Tilt) is set to 15 degrees/s

Gimbal Tilt Smoothness is set to 8.


What values are people using which are different than these defaults?

There are no "one size fits all", if that's what you want then best stick with the defaults and get used to them.
Otherwise it'll depend on your own feelings and what you're trying to do, so experiment.
