Lens aperture also plays a role in low light. With the sensor sizes being equal, the 3S should be better in low light with a F1.8 lens vs. F2.8 in the 2S.
In ur dreams it isI'm having trouble finding the video, but several reviewers say the Air3S is a low light beast! Like better than the Mavic3 Pro.

There is no Hasselblad sensor or Hasselblad lens in any DJI drone. They have collaborated with Hasselblad when tuning the colour rendition in the images. The Hasselblad sensor on the Mavic 3 Pro
The Hasselblad sensor on the Mavic 3 Pro is F2.8 on the fast end, but a larger sensor compared to the 3S F1.8 1-inch sensor, so all things considered it's probably pretty equal or negligible difference in low light.
Yep. OP needs an Inspire 3. Splitting hairs with small sensor drones. Only so much you can do with them.I hear hairs can be split with a microscope
These are both small sensor drones with limited low light performance. I think your expectations are too high. Even APS-C cameras aren’t great in low light compared to full frame.its not always about which one has a wider aperture, thats why i made it clear in the title i said low light PERFORMANCE i want the sharpest images in low light, i guess it has to do more with the sensor, thats why i cant believe any drone ATM is more superior to the mavic 3 pro...
does anyone have a clear comparison between the air 3s and the air 2s in low light please ??
did the air 3s finally surpass the air 3 in low light performance with recent FW upgrades as last time i checked it was a debate still...
