My first ever drone, the Mavic Pro, was delivered this morning to my surprise! I argued with FedEx on the phone this morning when I woke up because the tracking said it was at my local FedEx facility and it was on a truck for delivery but it wouldn't be delivered until the next business day (Monday, February 6th). 
They told me there was nothing I could do and they couldn't hold it for pickup for me and I would just have to wait till Monday.
So after an hour of sobbing knowing that I wouldn't get to fly it for at least another 2+ days I finally decided to move on with my day. Then as I'm sitting in my living room I see the FedEx truck pull up and lo and behold there it is!!!
Took it out for its first two flights today and although I definitely need some more practice with it, I am in love! Now I just can't wait until it warms up here and all of the colors of spring arrive.
I'm looking forward to being a part of the Mavic community and hope to learn a lot here.
